Tips for Real Curvy Women
Tips for Real Curvy Women
Real women have this dilemma about clothes not being to their size. It may either be too tight or maybe too loose. How much more if you are a curvy woman? It is hard to find pieces of clothing that really fits and can flatter a curvy woman’s body structure. Luckily, there are shops that cater to curvy women and they do that well. It all goes down to the buyer to choose the perfect clothing for them. Here are five tips that you can check out.
Stand tall and be proud.
Stick that chest out. Pull your shoulders too. Your confidence must show by the way you stand. Slouching will just not do the trick. It can make you look fatter bigger than you are. You are going to ruin the dress if you slouch and that will make your mother unhappy.
Fit is vital
Before you shop, check out first which part is the waist and fit that first. For example, if you have a big bust, make sure that the chest area must fit first before purchasing it. Comfort first.
It should look good with shoes.
You really can’t determine how good a dress looks when you are wearing your sports shoes on. So the next time you buy a dress, bring your shoes to match the dress.
Go for small patterns.
Patterns never go out of style but it does not mean you need to follow them altogether. They may look good on others or on the rack. But you need to try these on. Go with small patterns. Better, try separates. Perhaps a solid top and a dressier patterned bottom.
Great support
You need to have a good foundation. Your undergarments must be supportive and in good condition. What would entirely ruin a perfect dress is a pair of bra that is frayed and just cannot support.
Fashion Mistakes When Dressing Your Daughter
Fashion Mistakes When Dressing Your Daughter
We’ve all seen at least one thing that bothered us when seeing other people’s children. It’s not that it’s something we’re supposed to worry about, but some things just can’t be escaped. They’re just truly that horrible looking. Here are a few things that come into play:
1. When wearing dress up clothes, make sure she is wearing a shirt underneath. Most dress up clothes (as in little princess gown you buy from Wal-Mart, etc) don’t completely cover up the back. Sometimes they don’t cover up down to the little girl’s butt. In this case, a shirt is essential. Not only to cover up, but also to keep her warm, especially if it is a particularly cold day or she is in an extremely air conditioned room. You could also add Velcro to the back or more buttons instead. It’s up to you and your sewing skills.
2. Wearing a whole outfit of one pattern (unless it’s a dress or a jumper suit) or with more than one print or pattern is also not a good idea. It looks ridiculous, all things aside. The main thing to remember is that one print/one article of clothing is good. More than that is not just bad—it’s kind of horrible.
3. Wearing baggy pants with a tight shirt is another rather ridiculous thing. Wearing a baggy shirt with tight pants looks a little funky, but not nearly as bad as the latter. If you have her wearing a belt, it isn’t quite as bad, but it’s still pretty odd looking.

Sometimes you can’t be fashionable. It’s either not practical or it just doesn’t make sense. Here are a few things that you may need to omit throughout your day.

First, jewelry. That necklace might be adorable, but if you’re working at a daycare or babysitting, it probably isn’t a good idea to wear it. Little hands might get caught and tangle the necklace or potentially even get cut up. It might sound improbable—until it happens. Rings are also something that need to be put up for the day. In some cases, you might be reaching past someone and accidentally cut them or your ring could get scratched. Either way, it’s a bad situation.
Secondly, loose clothing. That flowy dress might be pretty but at the same time it could mean disaster during a chemistry lab. Or maybe it would result in a bad stain. Scarfs and bandanas are included as well. If you’re changing your tire or someone else’s, you don’t want to be wearing a scarf, definitely. You could get caught, it could snag, could potentially cause the tire jack to drop and result in disaster for you. Either way, keep in mind any situations where loose clothing wouldn’t be a good idea.
Lastly, loose hair. If your hair is down during a chem lab, while kite flying or driving, you’re creating a risk. Unless you have short hair, it can get in your way and cause an accident or some other problems for not only you but others as well. Your best bet is to carry a hair tie. Not to mention that it also makes it easier to keep knots out of your hair.
Gloss or No Gloss? How to Tell When Glossing is Too Much
Gloss or No Gloss? How to Tell When Glossing is Too Much
It’s a classic makeup dilemma – whether or not to wear gloss. Many women are addicted to their lipstick and would never wear it, while others love lip gloss but don’t know when it is appropriate to wear it. The bad news? There are no set-in-stone rules for when to and when not to wear lip gloss. The good news? There are some general tips to go by. It’s important to follow your common sense and a little style advice so you can better understand what’s appropriate.
Lip Gloss Dilemma

The general guidelines for when not to wear lip gloss (notice, we’re not talking about lipstick) are pretty much common sense. We all know in today’s time we as women are expected to look spot-on and perfect at a moment’s notice and in any conditions. Hiking, however, or a very windy day of outdoor fun, just aren’t compatible with lip gloss. However, you can bring lip gloss with you and wear it once you get indoors to look your best. It’s also not advisable to wear lip gloss that is too shiny or obvious in a setting where the general public isn’t showing too much makeup.
To find out when it is appropriate to wear lip gloss, take away where it isn’t, and you’ve got it! Some places are ultra-compatible with wearing it too, such as (obviously) dress parties, romantic settings, and places where it may be low lighting and you need your lips to really stand out. It’s important to keep things classy, though. No one likes to see bright neon blue lipstick on a romantic partner, and so on. Keeping your lip gloss chic will help it look appropriate no matter what situation.
Valentine Day Gift Ideas 2011 To Consider
Valentine Day Gift Ideas 2011 To Consider
Valentines Day is awaited by lovers young and old all over the world; and while some of them splash themselves with the best of treats, others choose to express their love to their loved ones in simplicity, using Valentines Day gift baskets. You don’t have to spend a fortune to say I love you to them, Valentines Day gift baskets will do just fine. Listen to me guys; I’m not telling you to go cheap… some of ladies will take it personally and chances are high that men will not be hitting the sheets with them anytime soon.

This is just one way of going unique during this red rose day. Don’t forget the red rose; though you can get more creative with the basket. You will need to hint at something cute and mysterious and they will never forget. The Valentines Day gift basket should have some red rose, one or two of them and if you are planning to have a romantic night in some tucked away destination, put some lingerie in the gift basket. (Make sure you are sure of her right size of lingerie or you could set of a time bomb. if you are not sure forget the lingerie idea altogether).

Add some chocolates and sweet treats for her. Some red wine is an addition to the mix that will work just fine. Make sure it has been arranged like she would expect and you will get her to do anything to you after that.
